Specific Requirements
Letter from the health entity providing the health service informing the type of treatment and estimated duration of the recovery phase.
Letter from the foreigner indicating that the costs of his treatment and stay in Colombia will be borne by himself or by the foreign entity that supports him and in no case will he generate services in charge of the Colombian health system.
Both the patient and his companion: they must have a health policy with coverage in the country against all risks in case of accident, illness, maternity, disability, hospitalization, death, or repatriation, for the time provided for their stay in the country.

Validity and Restrictions
Validity
Up to one (1) year and will not be extendable in the country. The V visa granted in this category is considered tourism and the permanence in the Colombian territory may not exceed one hundred and eighty (180) continuous or discontinuous calendar days.
Beneficiaries
This visa does not allow applications as a beneficiary.
Restrictions
It does not allow to work in the country, it does not allow to apply for M. R. type visas.
