The visa is the authorization granted, by the visa and immigration authority, to a foreigner for his entry, permanence, and development of activities in the country. Once the electronic form has been completed and the documents digitized, the platform will generate a reference number with which the applicant will proceed to pay within ten (10) calendar days. If the applicant does not make the payment within this period, it will be interpreted as withdrawal of the application and, therefore, the procedure will be terminated, without a pronouncement of the visa and immigration authority.

Once the application has been completed completely, with the contribution of all the required documents, and the corresponding payment for the study of the application has been fulfilled, the visa and immigration authority will have up to thirty (30) calendar days to issue the pronouncement.
