Specific Requirements

Letter stating the occupation or activity that you intend to carry out in the country in the exercise of your profession.

Copy of the validation of the degree and prove compliance with the other requirements for the exercise of the profession in accordance with the laws in force, including the presentation of the professional card, license or provisional permit granted by the corresponding professional association or council.

Bank certification in the name of the foreigner whose date of issue is not more than 30 days, and which contains: date of opening of the account, types of products and average balance and monthly movement corresponding to the last six (6) months. Average monthly income equal to or greater than five (5) legal monthly minimum wages in force must be demonstrated. In case of second visa of the same type and subsequent, the income must be demonstrated with Colombian bank certification.

Demonstrate that you have health coverage in Colombia, or a health policy with coverage in the country against all risks in case of accident, illness, maternity, disability, hospitalization, death, or repatriation, for the time provided for your stay in the country.

For activities based on professional experience, but not on academic training, documents or certifications must be provided to support its suitability and experience.
